The term 'Slique group' can describe several different things.
It describes a particular organization using the web application Slique, eg, "the Slique group called Slique Lab". It is also that group's actual Slique site (eg, the group called Slique Lab may refer to their website at http://demo.slique.com/ as their 'Slique group').
In addition, the Slique group is the main (or 'root') directory, under which all Topics are sub-directories.
Like a folder, a Topic is a place to store information. It usually organizes items around a particular topic (hence the name). It also can have its own mailing list, making it possible to email items directly into a Topic. Note that in the image below, the '+' symbols next to Collaborators, Lab Management, etc indicate that these Topics have sub-directories inside them that can be expanded by clicking the '+' symbol.
A Team consists of a subset of all of a Slique group's members. A single member can be part of multiple teams.
